Responsibilities This position has oversight of and management responsibility of Operations & Supply Chain activities related to product manufacturing, operational repair services, logistics, working capital management and lead the Operational Excellence initiatives
This position is also accountable for leading the talent development within the operations function
The DVP of Operations will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Business Unit Operations, from supporting production objectives to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, to the deployment of both tactical and strategic Operational and Supply Chain initiatives
Lead manufacturing, global supply management, distribution, and repair operations, to achieve the BU revenue and profit plan through Operational Excellence initiatives of cost reduction, quality improvement, operational cost reduction, new product introduction, acquisition integration and outsourcing
Assemble and communicate business level reports and presentations related to Operations Management
Consolidate Business Unit performance reporting on shipments, working capital improvement and material, VAVE and other Operational Excellence savings
Negotiate short and long-term agreements with strategic suppliers to promote guaranteed cost reductions through productivity improvements and reducing Non-Value Add elements in the Supply Chain
Develop and maintain a Make / Buy decision strategy for key categories of spend, factoring in major relevant factors to ensure best approach in support of the product portfolio and operational improvements
Support the development and deployment of Strategic Initiatives across the Business Unit
Identify Lean Manufacturing / Operational Excellence initiatives for Product and Operational cost improvements for the Business Unit
Drive process improvement and cost reductions by using continuous improvement tools
Teach others to use continuous improvement methodologies to drive out waste
Lead environmental, health and safety programs and dealing with regulatory agencies on related matters, as required
Support in Due Diligence initiatives of target acquisitions for the Business Unit
Establish goals and KPIs that deliver real-time actionable information across Operations Engineering, Test Engineering, Production builds, Supply Chain and Logistics
Responsible for the development and implementation of manufacturing strategy and readiness to support business objectives
Establish metrics, measurements, tools to improve efficiency and communication; ensuring the requirements of the customer are met, optimizing product value, reducing cost and ensuring on time delivery

We are seeking a Division VP, Operations responsible for building a culture among the organization where our customers receive consistently superior products, so as to facilitate the success of our business. This position has oversight of and management responsibility of Operations & Supply Chain activities related to product manufacturing, operational repair services, logistics, working capital... management and lead the Operational Excellence initiatives. This position is also accountable for leading the talent development within the operations function.
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience leading an Operations and Supply Chain team. Experience working in supplier development, inventory management, on-time performance, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction is preferred. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, (MBA) preferred; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
