Key Responsibilities:
System Installation and Configuration: \- Install, configure and upgrade software and hardware systems
\- Manage network servers and technological tools to ensure optimal performance
Account and Workstation Management: \- Set up user accounts and workstations
\- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with specified requirements
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: \- Identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware failures
\- Respond to network issues and system outages, restoring functionality and minimizing downtime
Security and Safety: \- Implement and maintain security measures, such as access controls, backups, and firewalls
\- Upgrade systems with the latest releases and models to bolster network security
Training and Development:
\- Develop and refine technical expertise within the team
\- Train staff on new technologies and systems to enhance capabilities and service delivery
Qualifications:
\- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role (1+ years preferred)
\- Strong knowledge of system security practices, including intrusion detection systems and data backup/recovery
\- Proficient with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux)
\- Adept in resourcefulness and problem-solving
\- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
\- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
\- CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred)
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
