Contract Administrator

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join a public agency in Orange County. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Location: Fountain Valley
Shift: Part-time 7am-12pm
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and legal requirements.
Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, renewal, and closeout.
Ensure contracts comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and agreements.
Prepare reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms and resolve disputes.
Work closely with legal counsel to review contracts and resolve legal issues as they arise.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contract Manager, or similar role.
Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and contract management best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
