Babel Street’s revenue team is seeking an Account Executive for Army and Joint Operations. The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible new business development. You will consult with Senior level government officials to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by all Babel Street's products and services. The right candidate for this role will become an expert at realizing how Babel Street software can support the customers' mission set. Professionalism, strong work ethic, adaptability and expertise in B2G and B2B relationship building are keys to quota achievement and ultimate sales success.

How you’ll be successful:

Experience navigating a complex sales cycle from start to finish, leveraging internal resources within the larger sales organization, cross functionally with the customer success team and externally across customers

Strong presentation skills for delivering in-person and virtual presentations to audiences, highlighting your ability to perform client discovery, communicate ROI and build business value

Actively seek to understand industry trends to help position against competitors

Craft targeted strategies designed to meet specific client needs and make recommendations based on internal and external factors.

A trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues to leverage multiple stakeholders throughout complex deals

Understanding the client's perspective through research and questions, and present solutions based on client input and your proactive research are essential

Although not mandatory candidates located in VA or DC area preferred.

Education & Experience:

5-10+ years of direct selling experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Account Executive, selling technologies to the Army space strongly preferred

Experience in the technology sector selling SaaS B2G and B2B solutions

History of consistent quota achievement

Examples of landing new customer logos

Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory

Understanding of MS Office and sale tracking tools like SFDC or equivalents are important

Excellent listening and communication skills are required

Ability to travel domestically between 25%-35%
