Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).
At Echodyne, we believe radar makes the world safer and more secure in the age of autonomy. We are seeking a Director of Operations to grow and manage our internal and outsourced production operations.
Echodyne employs both in-house and out-sourced manufacturing resources in the production of these advanced radar products and utilizes a supply chain made up of domestic and international suppliers. As the Director of Operations, you will lead teams engaged in all aspects of production operations, and lead the engineering teams responsible for manufacturing processes and testing.
Responsibilities
Build and lead a world-class manufacturing operation, including Manufacturing Test Engineering and Production
Lead the Sales and Operations alignment process by collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to develop and maintain a build plan that meets demand forecast and supports financial goals
Develop and implement a strategy for utilizing CRM, ERP, PLM, and MRP tools to effectively manage company operations
Collaborate with the Quality group to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and requirements of the Echodyne Quality Management System (QMS)
Collaborate with Engineering and Strategic Sourcing teams to to identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and champion Operational Excellence goals
Develop and implement a factory and operations plan that ensures personnel, equipment, and infrastructure are in place to meet current and future production goals
Identify and realize operational efficiencies that improve quality, increase capacity, and benefit the business' financial performance through the development and implementation of applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with the QMS
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years' experience in manufacturing operations with a variety of responsibilities such as sourcing, manufacturing/process engineering, production planning, and operations
Experience with enterprise CRM, ERP, PLM, and MRP tools is required; experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Arena preferred
Experience working within a regulated industry or under the operational responsibilities of a AS9100D QMS
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Effective communication and presentation skills

What We Offer
The pay range for this position is $165,000 to $210,000 annually.
