Manages all aspects of the Sales and Marketing activities for the North American Sandwich Division’s branded and private label businesses for an assigned region and group of Customers. Owns the development and execution of the growth strategy for the assigned region to meet Sales, Profit, and Distribution goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the presence of products in assigned region.
Collaborate with SK Food Group’s cross-functional partners to support the commercialization process of custom products for Customer base.
Provide Sandwich Division companies with needed volume forecasts to enable the production schedule.
Analyze syndicated data and market insights to formulate growth initiatives.
Responsible for driving the profitability of our business to include pricing of new & existing item initiatives, optimization of controllable costs, and avoidance of penalties and fees.
Cultivate relationships with customers to drive familiarity with our capabilities through the consistent identification of meaningful opportunities.
Develops and delivers sales presentations that further establish us as a valuable partner and source of thought leadership.
Represent company at Trade Association meetings to promote product.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent; and minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Director of Sales with selling responsibilities across Food Service, Grocery and Club channels.
Contract manufacturing experience in the food industry preferred.
None required.
Enthusiastic passion for identifying sales opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and generating profitable, long-term business.
Broker Management experience
Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from customers, consumers, and fellow Associates.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to top management.
