Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (List in order of importance; include any supervisory or management responsibilities)
Independently conducts relevant sector and individual security analysis all along the Water value chain, including solutions for water supply, water quality, and water efficiency.
Generates write-ups and valuation models for assigned companies.
Makes buy, sell, and hold recommendations on portfolio holdings which are typically in a range of 30 – 40 names.
Actively communicates and works closely with the Water portfolio managers and other members of Infrastructure team on strategies, regarding portfolio construction and investment returns, and coverage focus and vetting processes essential to security positioning and country / sector allocation.
Maintains relationships and proactively communicates with senior management of covered companies and industry contacts.
Assists in preparation of quarterly reports and generation of marketing and board materials.
Provides integrated ESG analysis alongside fundamental research that aligns with UN Sustainability Goals.
Exchanges complex information effectively to reach agreements in ambiguous or difficult situations.
Performs other duties as required by the Water portfolio managers or other senior management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (education, experience, certifications, licenses & skills required)
BA/BS degree and 6 - 10+ years of investment experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced degree ( MBA and/or CFA designation ) preferred.
Significant work experience in infrastructure, utilities, industrials required and experience in water preferred ( water utilities, industrial products, life sciences, or natural resources ). Some portfolio management experience is a plus.
Proven ability to deliver consistently strong performance and judgment in the field.
Solid communication ( verbal and written ), organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to comprehend strategic direction from senior management and provide feedback and input to enhance strategic direction.
Excellent PC skills with proficiency using MS software, Bloomberg, and internet research capabilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities, work independently, handle interruptions, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work flexible hours, travel globally, attend conferencesand meet with company management.
Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment ( i.e., a combination of in-office and remote work ).
Ability to operate a computer and perform repetitive motion activities.
Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
Base Salary Range: $153,000 to $187,000/annually
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
