Systems Engineer Mgr - Level 5_

**Description:** Responsible for managing a team of systems engineers and executing configuration management across ADP\. Effective training and development of staff, recruiting of required high\-end talent, growth of tool capabilities, performance management and assessment, employee career development, and compensation/promotion/awards planning are aspects of the position\. Ensure the numerous configuration management disciplines are properly implemented enabling engineering and product support requirements to be maintained in accordance with contract requirements\. Implements CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end\-of\-life\. Ability to foster relationships with external customers and internal counterparts is required\. Works extensively with counterparts in hardware engineering and software engineering, Chief Engineer's organization, and the program office\. Ensures that Configuration Management processes are being executed\. The Manager position is responsible for:

· Implementation of CM Processes

· CM point of contact with Customers, Program Management, Company CM, suppliers, and others\.

· Plan, establish, document, and communicate program specific configuration management requirements\.

· Plan and maintain CM staffing requirements

· Implement CM Identification requirements

· Implement Configuration Control for Change Boards, Change Request Processing, and Variances

· Implement Supplier Configuration Management process

· Implement Configuration Audits \(FCA/PCA\)

· Implement Formal Software Configuration Management

· Implement Configuration Status Accounting processes and Configuration Item Management

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Experience working with cross functional teams

\- Leadership Experience

\- Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience

**Desired Skills:**

Good written and oral skills

\- MS Office familiarity

\- Previous ADP experience

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

**Pay Rate:**

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 \- $226,400\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

\(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.

This position is incentive plan eligible\.

**Pay Rate:**

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 \- $256,000\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
