Responsibilities Check in/out patients
Print New Patient and/or follow up Packets and assist patients with completing forms if necessary
Scans insurance cards and identification into EMR
Responsible for registering and verifying insurance and add-on patients
Collect copays/deductibles/co-insurance amounts
Data Enter patient information into the appropriate databases
Updates patient demographic information, make sure address and insurance is correct
Support physicians and other staff members with paperwork, reports, and prior images as needed
Calls patients to confirm appointments
Completes opening and closing procedures
Keeps clinic lobby straight and orderly
Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives
Maintain confidentiality of all patients

Requirements Bi-Lingual, Spanish & English, required
1 year of customer service
High School Diploma or equivalent,
PACs experience a plus
Minimum 2-year experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting
Location Houston 77034
Business Hours Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm, occassional/rotating Saturday
Experience//Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Basic medical terminology knowledge
Follow HIPPA guidelines
Basic Computer knowledge and skills
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Attention to detail
Works well within a team
Confident and professional with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Covid-19 Vaccine is not required, but preferred.
