A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney in Dallas, TX:
Job Overview: The Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel on transactional tax matters, including fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. The role requires collaboration with clients, lawyers, and other professionals to deliver timely and accurate work products.
Job Duties: Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
Meet deadlines and perform duties as required by engaging in physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings.
Comply with firm policies and practices to maintain positive work relationships.
Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
Requirements: 2+ years of transactional tax experience dealing with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
Direct and applicable experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC.
Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with persuasive communication and management skills.
JD degree from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Admitted to practice law in Texas.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Research and problem-solving abilities.
Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others effectively.
Education & Certifications: JD degree from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Admitted to practice law in Texas.
