Job Description:

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Field Marketing teams role is to serve as a bridge between the marketing and sales departments, offering tailored marketing support to each district and helping boost revenue by adapting and applying national strategies to meet the specific demands of local markets. The Manager of Field Marketing serves as the lead for field marketing-related matters, which encompasses aiding internal communication, addressing the marketing requirements of local sales districts, and customizing national campaigns for regional target groups.

This person will be responsible for nurturing relationships with field sales leaders and stores teams. The ideal candidate will be a confident collaborator who will be required to work alongside team members on projects and tasks of all levels. They will be able to work alone and in groups, self-driven, adept at decision-making and problem-solving, have a strategic mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This leader will manage a small team, focused on Local Marketing campaigns and field communication. The specific responsibilities of each of these are listed below.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMTED TO :

Local Marketing Campaigns

In partnership with the Director, Loyalty and Promotions, create and implement field marketing strategies that support the company's business objectives, ensuring consistency across regions while considering local market dynamics and customer needs.

Manage a Field Marketing Specialist who will develop and customize marketing materials for specific district needs.

Collaborate closely with and gain buy-in from regional sales leaders to execute marketing programs, campaigns, and events to support and grow the sales pipeline.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales leadership, marketing leadership (product, digital, brand), and regional sales teams, to ensure alignment and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Monitor and analyze field marketing performance metrics, provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership, and make data-based recommendations for improvement.

Field Communication

Create and build a communication funnel for Marketing to submit topics and areas of importance for the Field Sales team.

Develop a consistent communication cadence to educate and train the Field Sales team on various marketing programs, tools and initiatives that will help drive customer growth and retention.

Act as a liaison between Marketing and Sales for marketing-related questions.

Share ongoing feedback to the broader marketing organization related to field insights and trends.

Guide the Field Marketing Specialist in delivering monthly insights and tools to help the field sales team drive customer engagement and retention.

Skillset

Ability to travel (10% and somewhat seasonal)

Ability to deal with ambiguity, change and gray areas. Independent work style; ability to work outside of routine since duties change daily

Bachelor's Degree or greater in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or related

Exceptional account management and organizational skills

Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives

Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, presentation skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with MS Office software - particularly Excel and PowerPoint

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $98,400 - $129,150 and will be based on the candidates qualification, experience, and education.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires at least 8 years related experience.

Requires strong business acumen and expertise in marketing strategy and best practices.

Must be able to manage a team and lead cross-functional work groups.

Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must have knowledge of a Microsoft Office and other related technologies.
