The Receiving Supervisor will oversee warehouse inventory and associates.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
Associate degree in Business or similar discipline required.
At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing leadership role required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Directly supervise assigned warehouse associates.
Identify and coordinate daily activities of team members; inspire your team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
Train associates on proper bpi receiving processes. Ensure that associates are consolidating material when possible, verifying shelf life & serialized material. Follow shipment inspection and bill of lading process.
Ensure all associates follow company policies, processes, and work rules including safety work rules.
Hold associates accountable to bpi processes by addressing errors, with follow up training & disciplinary actions when applicable.
Document and resolve any warehouse associate issues/errors daily.
Ensure that RF receiving is done and updated within 24 hours of material receipt on bpi dock to meet customer expectations.
Cross-dock receive material that arrives on dock according to bpi process for proper tracking & accountability.
Create and update manifests as needed.
Coordinate & assign receiving needs with 2nd and 3rd shift supervisors for material to be received on those shifts.
Address open issues in quarantine bin 01-QU.
Work with purchasing associates on receiving exceptions.
Work with other first shift supervisors & warehouse manager for scheduling & approving vacation requests to ensure that bpi is properly staffed.
Work with warehouse manager for scheduling associate shifts based on customer requirements.
Ensure that assigned warehouse associates are performing forklift inspections on their shift.
Daily communication with warehouse manager and as situations dictate.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Work overtime as assigned.
Travel overnight as required.
Work cooperatively with others.
Work in non-climate controlled environment.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Reports / Query Responsibilities:
Automated Micro Strategy report for Serial Number vs. Dye Lot. Shows items where the serial number and dye lot do not match. Address root cause & fix.
Query RECSERIAL – query to show serialized items received prior day. Compare serial numbers to serial standards chart. Items with a serial template are not included in this report. Check daily, address and fix.
Query MANIFEST – query to show manifest items that have been scanned in the warehouse but are not updated in the AS400 yet. Check twice a week.
Query PODUE01 – query to show material due into the warehouse for planning purposes and labor needs. Check twice a week.
Query HAZITEMS – query to show where hazardous items are located in the warehouse. Hazardous items should be kept in designated areas. Address root cause and fix. Check twice a week.
