In this role, The Warehouse Manager will motivate and lead frontline hourly associates, develop, and achieve performance goals, and develop productivity and accuracy standards with emphasis on quality, urgency, and on-time in full. You will collaborate with the Director of Operations to operate within all guidelines and partner for success.
Purpose of the Job Additional Functions of the Job Holder
Lead and manage the activities of the warehouse and shipping teams. Provide regular coaching, counseling, and communication to associates.
Supervise the activities of general warehouse operations by maintaining a clean and safe environment while being compliant with OSHA and Company Safety Guidelines and Policies.
Ensures proper safety focus and required safety processes/training are implemented.
Manage the daily activities of the finished goods warehousing and shipment of finished products to our customers for on-time delivery.
Ensures adequate and optimized staffing levels according to the department’s workload. Coordinates necessary staffing changes across departments based on projected volume. Manage the daily activity of our receiving, handling, and warehousing team.
Establishes goals, defines, and plans projects to ensure operational strategies are focused on and executed. Identifies and removes barriers to achieving departmental goals.
Capture and analyze data on processes to develop plans to meet established and future business needs.
Develop continuous improvement to areas of responsibility based on performance indicators.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education / Training:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in our applicable field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in warehousing, shipping, planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
Working Knowledge of GMP and HACCP program requirements including the application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills focusing on Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
Must be Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Experience interacting with senior leaders and across business areas.
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
