Dolce is now seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at the Dolce Silverado location in Napa , California .
**Job Summary**
Looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, perhaps slightly competitive and dedicated team member to help us exceed our group sales goals.
**Essential Job Functions**
Respond to corporate group sales leads as assigned by administrative assistants and directors
Contract negotiation and execution based on groups needs, including but not limited to guestrooms, meeting space, food & beverage, audio/visual and expected ancillary spend
Work with other departments such as conference services, golf, on-course food & beverage, tennis, AVMS and more to ensure that we can accommodate all of groups requirements and ensure that all departments of aware of necessary group expectations
Proactively solicit corporate group opportunities for Resort
Conduct corporate group sales site tours & pre-planning visits (if CS requires additional support) as needed
Assist with revenue management of group with an eye on total resort profitability.
Consult with clients & conference services to finalize and ensure all needs are being met
Maximize revenue by upselling menus and capturing additional site fees/room rentals
Support the team as needed in any capacity (whether that be taking leads outside of your market or helping operations with a tight flip, etc.)
Support reservations/front office team/Conference Services as needed with management of rooming lists and call-in groups, cutoff dates and addendums
Greet the group contact upon group arrival, pre-planning visit and/or pre-con to build rapport with client, make an introduction to CS, banquets/food and beverage lead and ensure proper handoff and communication with Conference Services
Participate in Resume Meeting, GRC, trainings, and other sales-related meetings as required.
Attend community and social events and industry meetings in order to keep Silverado Resort & Spa in the front of mind in the Napa Valley
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Group Sales
