Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a keen attention to detail? Do you enjoy working with systems & people just as much as numbers? Are you looking for a challenge? We are a dynamic trading company looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to perform all functions related to accounts payable processing, administering our expense reporting system and corporate card programs. You should have equally strong accounting, people and systems skills. This role also requires a great teammate with excellent organizational skills; who works with a very high degree of accuracy. You will be coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot, ensure data is accurate, and deadlines are met.
What You’ll Do
Own, lead and manage the global full-cycle accounts payable function including vendor and invoice management, approvals and disbursement activities
Ensure proper GL coding for all AP and expense activity
Monitor daily banking activity and complete reconciliations
Coordinate with the Procurement team to resolve issues and ensure data within our financial system is accurate and complete
Administer the Concur expense reporting system and corporate card program
Prepare journal entries, cash postings and reconciliations
Lead the AP team, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Automate processes and develop best practices, ensure AP processes and procedures are appropriate, documented and upheld
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business (with a concentration in accounting) or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience including in a supervisory role
Experience using technology to improve processes and create efficiencies
General ledger, expense management and procurement systems experience (Sun, Concur and Coupa system experience is helpful)
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with a sense of urgency with a high degree of accuracy
Intermediate Excel skills
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communications skills
Strong work ethic and ability to see work through to completion
