E&S Casualty Claims Manager | Remote

Our client, an A-Rated Insurance Carrier, continues to expand their E&S Casualty business and seeking to add an E&S Casualty Claims Manager. This person would be responsible for overseeing a team of 4-6 E&S Casualty Claims Specialist handling mid to complex Commercial General Liability, Umbrella, and Excess losses throughout the United States. Responsibilities of this position include leading a team of Claim Professionals with the accountability to investigate, evaluate and resolve claims or lawsuits. This can be either a Remote or hybrid position!

Oversee the investigation, evaluation, and settlement of E&S casualty claims, including general liability, umbrella, excess liability, and other specialty lines.

Ensure timely and accurate claims processing, adhering to best practices and company standards.

Review and approve claim settlements within designated authority.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of claims adjusters and examiners, providing guidance on complex claims issues.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Prepare regular reports on claims activity, trends, and outcomes for senior management.

Analyze claims data to identify patterns, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.

Work closely with underwriting, risk management, and legal teams to provide insights and support on claims-related matters.

Requirements:

7+ years of E&S Casualty claims experience

2+ years of Claims Management/Leadership experience

Must have Insurance Carrier experience

Active adjusters license is required

Strong knowledge of E&S insurance markets, products, and regulatory environment

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's Degree strongly desired but not required

Salary/Benefits:

$140,000 to $160,000+ base salary plus 10-20% Target Bonus Plan

Ability to work remotely
