Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to work in the Columbus, OH area. Education and relevant experience will be considered in determining salary and salary grade.
Hybrid position requiring working in office 3 days per week and two days working remotely.
Flexible schedule after first 30 – 90 days to include 4 ten-hour days or 4 nine-hour days plus a four-hour day. Must be available to work core hours of 9am – 5pm.
JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance Specialist will be a member of the Transmission Line Engineering team and will play a crucial role in ensuring the Company adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities. This will involve using Microsoft Excel to record data and generate reports.
Aid in completing various required quarterly and annual regulatory reporting for Company internal and Company external use. This involves researching, working with internal stakeholders to address errors, tracking progress and helping to improve the process.
Tracking and reporting Transmission Line Engineering (TLE) rating information, as well as working with other internal Company business units to ensure TLE meets deadlines.
Track status of capital project work from in-service dates through all closeout activities required, including deliverables from our contractors, surveyors and vendors. Also, verifying all records are updated, including regulatory reporting and facility rating information.
Stay up-to-date on compliance-related standard practices and ensure company adheres to them. This will involve reviewing current internal procedures, identifying potential risks, and improving Company standard practices.
Make decisions and contribute to team decision making and consensus building.
Develop detailed reports and presentations that communicate compliance information to stakeholders at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university or college. Examples of related fields may include engineering, business administration, business analytics, and data/computer science.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
