Associate Product Manager - Packaging, Pricing and Monetization Strategy

Job Description
RMS is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Product Manager for Packaging, Pricing, and Monetization Strategy. At RMS, we are building cloud native risk management solutions for insurers, reinsurers, financial services organizations, and the public sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing global pricing models and spearheading pricing initiatives in close collaboration with business stakeholders, while conducting market analysis. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will closely partner with product managers, field teams, sales, and cross-functional departments to define packaging and pricing models. You will also analyze pricing scenarios, discounting frameworks, and packaging options within our diverse product portfolio. Proficiency in data manipulation, visualization, and financial modeling is imperative for this role.
What You Will Be Doing
Developing a Pricing strategy for RMS products understanding target markets, tracking market trends and understanding product objectives and key results.
Craft pricing strategies for RMS products, with a keen understanding of target markets, market trends, and alignment with product objectives and key results
Collaborate with product management and sales teams to construct and refine packaging and bundling strategies for SaaS and Packaged Software products
Drive the establishment of financial frameworks to prioritize roadmap initiatives across various product management stakeholders
Develop pricing analytics and forecasts for pricing and promotional initiatives
Collaborate closely with the finance team to develop a deep insight into cloud infrastructure costs and margins
Implement pricing changes and strategies for product launches, fostering collaboration with operational stakeholders and ensuring seamless sales enablement
What You Need For This Position
Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a pricing strategist or financial analysis role within the Enterprise Software, or Cloud Services industry
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas concisely
Collaborative Team Player: Proficient in teamwork, with proven leadership abilities when required
Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product management, and finance
Educational Background: Ideally, a background in finance or a quantitative field
Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills, complemented by the ability to communicate insights effectively and recommend actionable strategies
Excel and Data Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including advanced modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc., and proficiency in BI tools and data visualization platforms
Strategic Acumen: Experience in developing business and product strategies, including pricing models, and a track record of closely collaborating with sales and product management
Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management capabilities, including the ability to meet demanding and evolving deadlines
Presentation Proficiency: Experience in creating and delivering presentations to various organizational audiences including senior leadership
Preferred Experience
Business consulting and/or Pricing experience for a SaaS company
BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Management Business
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $87,500.00 to $126,650.00 , depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
