Experience with qualified retirement plans and self-funded health and welfare plans is required.

Basic Requirements for the Employee Benefits Attorney:

2-6 years of experience focused on employee benefits law

Recent law firm experience at a highly regarded large or boutique law firm

LL.M. in tax is a plus

Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Licensed to practice law in Illinois

Outstanding professional references

Position Details of the Employee Benefits Attorney :

Type of role: Law Firm Associate

Schedule: Full-time

Location: Hybrid (Chicago Metro Area)

Compensation:

Pay: The salary range for this role is $190,000 to $210,000 or more. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.

Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
