The opportunity At ZBiotics, we make genetically engineered probiotics that improve daily life. As a group of ambitious, yet down-to-earth individuals, we are fueled by two things: a love for science and a commitment to being people-first. GMO products like ours, designed to benefit individuals rather than corporations, are the future. As the first to market, we believe it’s our duty to set a high bar for product quality, safety, and transparency for others to follow.

In 2019, we launched the world’s first genetically engineered probiotic: a 15mL probiotic drink designed to break down the alcohol byproduct that leads to rough mornings after drinking. Since then, ZBiotics continues to grow year after year. With new, completely unique products on the way, our team is growing. We’re looking for people as excited as we are to build this new category of consumer products.

Your impact As Growth Marketing Manager, you will launch, manage, and analyze marketing programs that accelerate our growth. With strategic vision and tactical expertise, you will help us scale a full-suite, omnichannel marketing approach that focuses on providing value to our current and potential customers. You will target our highest-performing audiences and create a lifecycle marketing program that engages our most loyal customers.

Your work will not only shape how the ZBiotics brand is seen, but it will redefine how American consumers see genetic engineering and GMOs.

By your third month, you are optimizing for data-driven learnings through testing and analysis in our advertising platforms and CRM.

By your sixth month, you have complete ownership of our refer-a-friend and lead generation programs to drive impactful results across acquisition and retention efforts.

By your first year, you are the expert for our customer marketing data, guiding new acquisition channels from research to development to retrospective on a regular basis.

You have expert working knowledge in campaign set-up, audience development, and full-funnel testing in Meta Ads and Google Ads.

You can pull data from Google Analytics and other data platforms to tell a clear, compelling story about marketing results.

You are extremely organized, highly motivated (especially with time-sensitive projects), and have experience cultivating meaningful relationships with agencies and vendors.

You know your way around an email marketing CRM, editing HTML/CSS, and segmenting customer profiles with ease.

Your project management skills are a point of pride.

Experience nice-to-haves: You have experience with other advertising platforms (e.g. TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.).

You have experience with attribution modeling

You like to create engaging content through a combination of copywriting, creative assets, and brand storytelling.

You’ve previously worked with DTC/ecommerce brands.

You have organic marketing experience (e.g. SEO, content marketing, refer-a-friend programs, etc.).

You look for ways to use process automation (e.g. Zapier, Workato, Zoho Flows, etc.) to heighten productivity.

This role is for you if… Finding new ways to reach customers through digital marketing is squarely in your wheelhouse.

You have enthusiasm for wearing multiple hats and pitching in where needed (the start-up life).
