Regional Sales Director, West Coast

What part will you play?

The Regional Sales Director is a leader in the Sales & Enablement team supporting our Workplace organization. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales for the region.

Diversified’s Workplace Sales Team is responsible for delivering business value from a variety of workplace collaboration, digital broadcast and media, solutions and services into Corporate Enterprise and Higher Education clients across the US sales regions. The team includes Client and Sales Executives, Business Development, Presales, and Sales Support staff.

What will you be doing?

Lead, inspire, manage, and mentor a world-class sales team to maximize their individual potential and professional growth.

Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform, and partner ecosystem, to influence decision makers and help close new business.

Drive revenue through existing client growth and new client acquisition, meeting or exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics.

Support and assist account executives with all aspects of the sales process including client presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and final close.

Ensure collaboration across departments to provide an excellent customer experience, and to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts.

Remain up to date on technological changes within the industry and identify areas of opportunity.

Cultivate an environment aligned to Diversified’s Values of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Travel to regional offices and project sites as required to ensure quality and cultivate relationships.

What do we require from you?

Education-Experience:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution – Business, Marketing or similar discipline preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of previous sales and/or strategic account management experience.

Minimum 5+ years experience in sales operations and sales leadership, managing and leading team members.

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Excellent leadership and coaching ability; can successfully coach others in sales best practices.

Ability to utilize data analytics to course correct quickly when there are coverage gaps.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to collaborate and influence in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence decision makers.
