About the role:

The Growth team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help grow Samsara’s revenue by scaling our self-serve e-commerce experiences for our customers to purchase Samsara’s products and offerings. You’ll partner closely with our engineering, design, sales, marketing, and finance teams to grow our self-serve sales motion to complement our sales-assisted motion. This role is for you if you have a passion for growing businesses, enjoy building great customer experiences, understand customer funnels, and like to work across systems.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Area (125 mi. radius from 1 De Haro St, San Francisco) and NYC Metro Area (50 mi. radius from 131 W 55th St, New York).

In this role, you will:

Research customer needs, business needs, market landscape, and usage data to define the long-term strategy and roadmap for growing our self-serve sales motion into the best B2B e-commerce experience for our customers

Own delivery against the roadmap from inception through launch and beyond

Develop a good understanding of our business structure and systems, and partner with large groups of cross-functional stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Technology, and other go-to-market teams to get their buy-in and define product requirements

Work with our talented engineering and design teams to execute the roadmap

Integrate experimentation capabilities and drive a pipeline of experiments to grow revenue and other key product and business metrics

Suggest and implement improvements to the practice of growth product management at Samsara to help drive hyper-growth at scale

Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

4+ years of experience in customer-facing product management

Ability to independently synthesize customer insights, data, and business needs into a cohesive strategy and product roadmap

Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end to ship products or features

Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail

A keen eye for best-in-class user experiences and an ability to simplify complex products and workflows

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data

Excellent communication skills with an ability to succinctly communicate with stakeholders and key executives

Bias-to-action and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty

An ideal candidate also has:

MBA or Masters degree in a technical field

Experience in e-commerce and/or growth product management

Experience running A/B tests to improve product and business metrics

Familiarity with B2B sales

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy : Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$126,438—$212,500 USD
