Talent Acquisition Business Partner

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be responsible for candidate attraction for the organization, as well as other HR and Talent Management objectives. The ideal candidate will utilize various staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position will support the business by owning full-cycle recruiting, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and building/maintaining good relationships at all levels of the organization.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the candidate experience from start to end and ensure an exceptional candidate experience: understanding candidate goals and needs, qualifying their competency and culture fit, managing the feedback loop, and coordinating an expedient and seamless interview process.
Partner with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Lead the recruiting process for the skilled/salaried workforce while collaborating with hiring managers to meet the needs of the business.
Interviews, screens, and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional, and technical job openings.
Significant involvement in campus recruitment and employee experience for our early career programs, including our summer internship program.
Utilize Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, etc. to identify niche talent for current openings and develop a talent pipeline for future openings.
Manages the hiring process for required paperwork, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, reference checks, etc.
Demonstrating creativity to identify top talent through nontraditional recruiting/sourcing avenues.
Continuously championing our culture by sharing our values with both candidates and internal customers.
Take part in performance management duties, including annual review process, goal setting process, and performance coaching conversations with employees.
Take on talent management and HR project work as assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
4+ years of corporate recruitment experience is strongly preferred
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A passion for building diverse teams
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
This position will be primarily in an office environment but may also include time in the warehouse, manufacturing plant, and other locations. Up to 10% travel is required.
Need to safely perform all duties. Excellent vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
