Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting project managers and ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. Your organizational skills and ability to multitask will be essential in coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation.
As an a Project Coordinator, you will:
Create project resources in software and ensure records are input in system.
Collect, organize, and review all certificates of insurance for coverage and limit compliance.
Ensure key project documents are distributed to field and subs.
Maintain project filing system — including all software applications, shared drives, and hard files.
Assist Project Manager with preparation of warranty/owner's manual.
Misc assignments, as required, vary depending on the needs of Company and/or department.
Preferred Skills include:
2+ years of experience in construction accounting, project management, or a related field.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
The ability to handle multiple projects and support multiple employees' administrative needs with minimum supervision is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with vendors, subcontractors, and owners.
Excellent computer skills (must be proficient in Microsoft Excel).
Experience with Sage Timberline accounting software and Procore is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
Experience: 2 or more years of previous experience
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares monthly draws.
Responsible for project A/P, A/R, billings, lien waivers
Inputs project budget and commitments into accounting software
Conducts supplier and subcontractor verifications.
Prepares certified payroll.
Prepares subcontracts and purchase agreements. Coordinates distribution of documents.
Prepares / Assists with preparation of RFls, CORs, Submittals, COs, meeting minutes, and other documentation for Project Managers and Project Superintendents

Clean professional appearance.Open to traveling if necessary.
This role requires standing, walking, or sitting for long periods of time, or entire shift.Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (i.e. small print). Grasp, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting,pulling,and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, eight hours per day.
