Newrest is looking for a **Warehouse Manager** for its Inflight Unit in the USA.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining orderliness of warehouse and optimum inventory levels necessary to cost effectively meet customer needs.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :**
* Provide leadership, teach develop and coach team members in all warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, inventory management, order picking/put away, cycle counting, material handling, equipment software, and company policy and procedures.
* Ability to analyze, develop, initiate, and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals.
* Assure the highest standards are maintained for safety, housekeeping, and compliance with all government and company standards.
* Establish and maintain professional communication with vendors.
* Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for process improvement.
* Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
* In the area of quality and safety this individual will ensure that all processes conform to the customer and Newrest specifications, always comply with good hygiene and manufacturing practices (e.g., hazard analysis and critical control points [HACCP], FIFO), carry out cleaning, washing, and sanitation of premises in accordance with cleaning plan, investigate and complete incidents/accidents documentation as well as enforcement of safety processes and legal requirements for all processes.
* Collaboration with other departments.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
* Bachelors degree in a business-related field or Logistics.
* Three years of warehouse supervisory experience.
* Demonstrated ability to support a long-term warehousing and inventory control plans to driver performance in warehousing and inventory key business areas.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvements.
* Must have prior knowledge of receiving, warehouse practices, and material handling.
* Prior experience navigating in Warehouse management systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S is preferred.
