We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager (SAM)-Poultry for our Selko brand-Indianapolis, IN. This customer-facing role is responsible for creating Demand and keeping all Targeted Customers well informed regarding our poultry products: Selko, IntelliBond and Fytera brands. Additionally, Team selling is critical to Selko' Sales Strategy. Thus, identifying logical connection points between Selko, our customers and strengthening key relationships through multiple points of contact, creates sales success! These consistent efforts are the road map to achieving our annual business plan.
Selko, a Nutreco brand, provides specialty feed additives to optimize animal performance and customer value. Our unique products are backed by sound science, the expertise to help customers win and manufactured at the highest quality standards. We add value to our customers with proven solutions for trace mineral optimization, animal health and performance.
About The Role: Driving Sales Excellence
Responsibilities:
Implement our sales strategy to grow our Poultry portfolio
Develop and manage business-to business contacts between Selko and each strategic account
Understanding Selko's business model, industry knowledge and operations increase Sales growth and Customer's Business
Move each Strategic Account from a Transactional mindset to a Valued partnership
Coordinate Technical support for poultry customers
Provide input to the design and execution of the poultry research strategy
Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to conduct market research and translate results into effective customer-facing material that accurately communicate the performance of Selko products
Work in partnership with Technical Services, Marketing and Finance to achieve an excellent Customer Satisfaction Rating on all accounts
Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Business Administration, Agriculture or a similar field
5+ years' Sales experience in Poultry/Agriculture is required
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Willing to travel domestically up to 50%
Support the geographical regions -East, Southern East coast including Texas- residing in your sales territory
Experience with CRM-MS Dynamics 365
Experienced user of MS suite Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Travel to the corporate office-Indianapolis, Indiana- 2xs a year
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with internal stakeholders and external customers
Fluent in English is an advantage
