The Atlanta plant is the first of many plants for Nexus and is where we currently operate the company’s initial commercial production facility. The Atlanta plant is doubling its capacity over the next 12 months with its next generation technology as well as extensive growth in the Company overall with the building of new sites.
Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Manager to coordinate, lead and plan computer-related activities for organization. This role will help determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.
This role reports to Nexus Circular’s CFO.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
Assist with ERP implementation for all phases of the life cycles.
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.
Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap.
Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Familiarity with our software platforms including Microsoft 365 (e.g., Power BI)
