Pay range: $52.92/Hour
Your Duties Include
Lead school of engineering finance staff in building our annual budget: Prepare allocations and distribute to departments, serve as a resource during budgeting, analyze budget submissions, build final budget submission based on all inputs from the department.
Manage commitments: Maintain a suite of funds with donor restrictions, and match them to incoming funding requests, track and transfer funds to meet priorities.
Year end close: Run reports, analyze data, serve as lead for a portfolio of department clients to review and process transfers, ensuring school and university procedures are followed.
Opportunity to manage special projects to improve reporting and operations
Requirements
Intermediate excel skills: Must be comfortable with using formulas to calculate data and managing large amounts of data. (sumifs, pivot tables, vlookups)
Prior experience in a role with some finance or accounting responsibilities
High level of attention to detail
Comfortable learning new systems, or experience using existing systems (Oracle OBIEE, Tidemark Budgeting, File maker Pro)
Good customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as partner closely with a team
Experience budgeting, managing funds with donor restrictions and matching them to expenses, and experience with finance- ISC calculation, endowment payout, Fringe calculation are all a plus.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree required
