Description:
Markon is seeking a Database Administrator to support one of our Intelligence Customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the initial installation, configuration, and deployment of a new PeopleSoft HCM implementation.
Provide support for database definition, design, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection.
Support database application integration.
Maintain database support tools, database tables and dictionaries.
Perform database recovery and back-up procedures.
Provide recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements to database environment.
Work collaboratively with customers, business analysts, developers, system testers, and end-users in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Job Requirements
Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (multiple experience levels available).
Experience administering Oracle databases.
Ability to perform all database administrative functions, including upgrades, patching applications and performance tuning.
Desired Experience supporting enterprise-scale databases (thousands of concurrent users, thousands of tables).
Experience working in an AWS environment.
