POSITION SUMMARY

AGG is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join the firm's Marketing & Business Development team that provides support for content creation and editing for purposes of external and internal communication of the firm's capabilities, services, and client solutions. The primary responsibility of this position is to support all marketing and business development projects and day-to-day activities related to the firm's industry teams, practice groups, and individual attorneys. This individual should be a highly motivated self-starter with strong project management skills to manage and execute work successfully. The position is based in the firm's Atlanta office.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Senior Marketing Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

HOURS: Full-Time, Hybrid work schedule

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with writing and editing content consistent with AP and firm style related to key practice areas, industry initiatives, legal insights, client alerts, client success stories, and internal and external newsletters while serving as the internal point of contact for distribution.

Update firm webpages via CMS (WordPress), including service, industry, firm descriptions, biographies, and other pages as assigned.

Assist with enforcing AGG's brand standards and guidelines on all materials, working in close contact with the Marketing Department's graphic designer.

Assist with posting on the firm's social media accounts, create engaging content, and collaborate with the Marketing & Business Development Manager on the social media calendar.

Gather and curate content for select newsletters for internal and client-facing communications.

Serve as backup for formatting the firm's email marketing communications and other graphics for distribution.

Assist with client-facing webinars, including scheduling, practice runs, formatting materials, and sharing registrant and attendee reports.

Assist the Marketing Events Manager with event logistics, including planning, promotional item ordering, staffing, set-up and takedown, processing CLE, and more.

Maintain and update the Marketing & Business Development team's intranet pages.

Assist with administrative duties as assigned.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong writing and editing skills and the utilization of AP style are required.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress is required.

Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite is a plus.

Experience with webinar platforms such as GoToWebinar is a plus.

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus.

Experience with email marketing software such as Concep is a plus.

Working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) is a plus.

Experience with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (Legal 360) is a plus.

Experience using media and legal intelligence platforms, particularly Meltwater and JD Supra, is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum four-year college degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, English, business, or a similar discipline.

Minimum of one to two years of communications, marketing, and/or business development experience, preferably in a law firm, professional services, corporate, or similar environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and understanding of social media, podcasting, and various related software platforms.
