Job Overview - Associate, Asset Management:
Our client is seeking an Associate, Asset Management to join their dedicated team. This hybrid role involves supporting the Asset Management function of operating assets, developments, and acquisitions, working closely with senior living operating partners to maximize asset level performance for senior housing investments.
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Associate, Asset Management:
Reporting: Manage occupancy and financial reporting, design enhanced data collection, and review asset-level financial packages.
Analysis: Conduct property performance analyses, use industry data software, and understand joint venture documents for partner discussions.
Annual Business Plans: Review and analyze annual business plans for partners.
Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions, focusing on competitive landscape, occupancy rates, staffing, and operating expenses.
Qualifications for the Associate, Asset Management:
Education: BA/BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other similar quantitative focus required.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience, including financial analysis (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with an operating or real estate business.
Technical: Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint proficiency; solid understanding of accounting and real estate finance.
Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and quantitative skills.
