About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to lead its community engagement, outreach, programming, and fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be a key player in advancing the institution's commitment to equity and will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all advancement programs. This includes overseeing community and government relations, marketing and communications, and resource development. The role encompasses leading the company's foundation and alumni activities, brand management, and various community-based programs such as child care resources, small business development, and workforce education.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5 years' of management experience in college advancement or nonprofits, including at least 2 years' of executive director experience, and 3 years' of fundraising experience. The ideal candidate will also have a Master's degree and experience in bond planning, grant management, government relations, and strategic revenue generation. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential, as the role involves working with diverse backgrounds within the community, students, and employees. The Vice President of Advancement will be a senior leader within the organization, contributing to the President's Cabinet and serving as the top advancement officer.
