Job Description Axiado is looking for a highly skilled and motivated business development leader with a proven track record of growing a business. This key individual will be part of the division’s executive leadership team and will be responsible for developing differentiation using sales/BD strategies and development both organically and inorganically. This position will drive all aspects of our outbound direction and strategy with the goal of expanding customer breadth, revenue, profitability, and market share.

This role requires creativity, demonstrated leadership skills and high level of product awareness. Working closely with our leadership team, including product marketing, product management, and engineering, the BD leader is responsible for creating and executing a winning strategy to drive growth at a level greater than the market. The successful candidate will positively influence our BD efforts through market research, customer engagement analysis, and technology direction. The successful candidate will identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities and help focus the team in pursuit of the most attractive initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Creating and executing a winning business development strategy to grow

Work closely with engineering teams with the division as well as with the customers to be able to talk about product features and benefits in the market

Make recommendations to potential new markets we should serve that align with our offerings

Help expand the company ecosystem by extending the partnerships with emerging markets leaders and across new technology and application

Have the ability to create thoughtful presentations both internally and externally to convincingly tell the applicable story

Qualifications Education And Experience

15+ overall years driving strategic partnerships/alliances/Business development at a startup technology company

Related sales/BD leadership experience (For now, focus is on the BD side and not sales functions like distributor engagement and sales channel creation)

Understanding of the cloud ecosystem (Servers, CSP/Datacenter, 5G base stations, and preferred products and technologies)

Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical degree (preferred); MBA preferred

Demonstrable experience in technologies related to security domain, AI, advanced hardware, datacenter domains and next generation Internet technologies

Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including interpreting legal documents and work with attorneys to complete agreements

A proven track record of growth

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

Experience running global business development in a technology startup

Experience working with Cloud service providers, Data center/Infrastructure customers, worked at/with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Facebook infra, Oracle infra and other Tier 1, 2, 3 Cloud providers and with Nokia, Ericsson infrastructure groups

Evangelized new product concepts with customers of cloud service providers, like Banking, Government, Military, Healthcare and Infrastructure CISOs and have reach and connections with them.
