Global Senior Vice President of Partnerships

As the Global Senior Vice President of Partnerships at Media.Monks, you will serve as the central orchestrator responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of both immediate and long-range strategic initiatives with our major global partners. You are a recognized expert in the advertising and/or marketing technology sector and its foremost technology offerings. As a senior executive adept at strategic and operational thinking, you will identify and propel synergies between Media.Monks and our partners.

Responsibilities Rapidly Develop Expertise and Assume Global Responsibility : Quickly gain extensive knowledge and oversight of Media.Monks key technology partnerships on a global scale. Take ownership of various partnership aspects to drive success and growth.

Business Planning and Forecasting: Lead the development and implementation of global partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Regularly communicate updates and insights to relevant team members and stakeholders.

Long-term Strategy Development: Collaborate to create and implement a comprehensive long-term strategy aimed at optimizing outcomes with partners.

Relationship Management and Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the relationship with each partner, including operational integration, reporting, content strategies, and ongoing performance analysis. Engage in problem-solving and ensure seamless integration across all relevant areas. Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to maximize value and mutual benefit.

Revenue Initiatives and Growth: Spearhead the development of innovative revenue initiatives with partners, working closely with growth and consulting teams to drive incremental revenue and long-term customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at partner organizations, as well as internal stakeholders at all levels, including sales, R&D, account management, consulting, and senior management.

Performance Evaluation and Recommendations: Establish transparency on partner performance metrics and make informed recommendations to address any underperformance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the partnerships team to achieve business objectives.

Advocacy and Conflict Resolution: Represent Media.Monks interests to external partners and proactively seek to develop mutually beneficial solutions to any perceived problems, fostering a collaborative and positive partnership environment.

About You The essentials: Deep Understanding of Ad Tech and Mar Tech: Demonstrated expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the technology landscape within ad tech and mar tech. Able to immediately command respect and credibility from partners and colleagues due to this deep understanding.

Extensive Experience in High-Growth Environments: Proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth, and unstructured business settings. Capable of thriving within dynamic and evolving organizations.

Exceptional Leadership Skills: A leader who excels in managing people at all levels, with a career trajectory driven by successful leadership. Known for their reputation as a respected and effective "boss" who fosters growth and development among their teams.

High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Possesses strong emotional intelligence and empathy, capable of understanding and internalizing partner motivations on a global and individual level. Able to effectively lead and inspire teams across multiple departments to drive collaborative success.

Attention to Detail and Process Creation: Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and a history of creating effective processes in dynamic environments. Capable of adapting quickly to changing needs and circumstances.

Passion for Mutually Beneficial Business Deals: Genuine enthusiasm for engaging in business-to-business deals where both parties achieve meaningful success and value.

Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities with a proven ability to influence and engage individuals at all organizational levels.

Educational and Professional Background: Holds an undergraduate degree alongside 15+ years of experience in digital marketing sales, strategy, and/or business development, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry and a proven history of success in related roles.

Not a must, but a plus: MBA or Advanced Degree: Possession of an MBA or advanced degree in a related field such as Digital Marketing.

Multilingual Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, particularly those commonly used in the global business landscape.

Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Prior involvement in M&A activities within the ad tech or marketing technology industry.

Proven Track Record of Deal-Making: Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating and closing high-value, complex business deals within the global partnerships domain.

Industry Thought Leadership: Recognized authority in the ad tech or marketing technology space, evidenced by speaking engagements, publications, or industry awards.

Experience in Building Strategic Alliances: Track record of developing and nurturing strategic alliances with key industry players to drive mutual success.

Demonstrated Success in Change Management: Experience leading and implementing effective change management strategies within global partnership environments.
