A well established and respected LA area Wholesaler / Distributer / Shipper is in growth mode, increasing sales and adding new produce categories.
Seek an experienced and accomplished sales pro to join their successful sales team.
Our client has achieved consistent year-over-year growth and is adding talent to continue to build the company.
They have a great reputation within the industry, a solid team, and ability to service customers.
This position located in the city of Los Angeles, CA. A potential hybrid office / home work arrangement can be considered, but preference is to work in the office.
Open to strong sourcing or buy / sell experience, however, this role can focus on sales functions and new customer development.
Position Responsibilities Include
Develop new sales for the company from your established customer relationships.
Develop new category(ies) and / or significantly expand customer base for current commodity offerings.
Maintain sales targets, category growth and build sales forecasts with customers.
Possess a mindset to improve profit margins and overall revenue performance.
Travel periodically to customers, trade shows, events.
Required Experience & Qualifications Include
Demonstrated success in developing new customers, maintaining and growing accounts, working successfully with internal teams and departments.
Well-rounded fresh produce knowledge base; including production, quality, logistics, procurement, etc.
Our client will entertain veg and/or fruit sales experience.
College degree (B.A./B.S.) in related fields of study desired, or relevant professional experience.
Starting salary range in mind is $100,000 - $150,000, depending on capabilities and experience, but may be open to considering a potentially higher salary.
