ROCKWOOL is looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager , New England, GBI, preferably based in Boston, to join our U.S. Sales Team . The territory for this role includes CT, MA, VT, RI, NH and ME, with 50% travel required. The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales, USA
What You Will Be Doing
ROCKWOOL Group's main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a regional team of sales professionals in keeping with ROCKWOOL policies, providing motivation and guidance to ensure that agreed upon targets are met or exceeded.
Experience leading sales teams in the building materials industry in both residential and commercial settings, preferred
Meet or exceed agreed upon sales forecasts for volume and revenue
Assume full responsibility for sales volume, revenue and margin targets
Develop a comprehensive sales plan aimed at achieving goals
Cultivate superior relationships with colleagues and customers
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
Provide analytics as required to effectively drive growth
Proficiency with MS Office products and other CRM software
What You Bring 5 years' experience working in sales including senior management roles with prior supervision required
College education, preferred
Knowledge of modern IT business tools
Contributes to employees/colleagues' development
Provides direction and guidance to a team in a way that leads to optimal results
Plans & organizes time effectively
Actively works with customers/clients to identify needs & create proposals
Gains in-depth insight into people and adjusts behavioral style to achieve goals
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and use of CRM software
Ability to travel up to 50% with overnight travel included
