What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a policy analyst supporting oversight and management of the policy agenda for the Office of Response and Recovery.Typical assignments include: Coordinating high-level assignments and issues. Providing analytical support to senior staff in reviewing, analyzing, and editing various documents, including correspondence, doctrine, policy, legislation, General Accounting Office (GAO) and/or Inspector General (IG) reports. Formulating recommendations to senior managers based on knowledge of current issues, legislation, programs and regulations. Assists in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of ORR issues. Assessing effectiveness of programs and recommends adjustments to the organizational structures and approaches of the directorate, as needed, as they relate to the realignment of functional responsibilities.
