**A bit more about this role:** The Market General Manager reports to the Regional President and is responsible for all activities related to implementing local market strategy and achieving market targets from market entry to operationalization. This position is considered the local Devoted Health leader and directly interfaces with provider and business partners with support from the Regional President and corporate leadership and functional areas. Specific responsibilities include: Network development strategy and execution, provider performance, strategic relationship development, growth strategy and execution including distribution partners. t; and hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of market staff.
This role is key in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years experience in leadership with experience in recruiting and leading teams of people. Candidate must possess knowledge of provider networks, contract negotiations, insurance operations and general health care industry knowledge in the specific geographic region the role will be leading. Ideally, the candidate will possess a very high level of business acumen and be able to exhibit it both internally and externally to a wide variety of audiences. Innovation, independence and confidence are key competencies that need to be exhibited. + Providing insights and support in the area of market strategy and management.
+ Assist the Regional President in the development of the annual market plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
+ Provide insight and inform direction to local market and competitor analysis.
+ Establish trusting and differentiating relationships with key providers and local market strategic and business constituents.
+ Through the support of corporate resources, oversees the optimal performance (financial, service and growth) of the provider network.
+ Oversee the implementation and optimal distribution of all market communications to ensure they are market relevant, coordinated, support market plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
+ Provide input and support to the companys leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
+ Provide market skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and leading a market team capable of executing the necessary strategies and tactics. Recruit, hire, develop, mentor and coach the best talent available to support the overall mission and culture of Devoted Health.
+ Lead the Development, maintenance and management of an adequate and marketable provider network in assigned geographical areas.
+ Negotiating and renegotiating contracts with ALL provider types as assigned
+ Monitoring of various reports to ensure all necessary compliance requirements are met and maintained.
+ Reporting to leadership current status, risks, and potential opportunities in the area on a regular basis.
+ Support of the overall Network Team as required to achieve success of Devoted Health.
+ In coordination with the sales team leadership, support the recruitment and management of the local sales team.
+ Establish and maintain a strong relationship with key FMO and broker partners.
+ Explore opportunities for service area expansion within the geographic market.
