Within our Connectivity and Cloud Solutions division, Global Accounts is a dynamic, fast-growing business unit, focused on building strong customer relationships with market leaders to optimize and scale account engagements. As the Markets Technology Lead in our Global Accounts segment, you will lead a team of portfolio architects, sales engineering, go-to-market professionals and technology subject matter experts to develop strong market and customer engineering relationships, inform our technology investments, drive product roadmap requirements and collaborate with our engineering teams to deliver product solutions that enable our customers to succeed in their markets. You will be responsible for enabling our account teams' growth and driving market penetration through your market knowledge and thought leadership in IT infrastructure, architecture, products and solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Market Analysis and Guidance - developing technical and product requirements to support our value proposition to the Global Accounts customers

+ Developing a high-performing team of portfolio architects and sales engineers to support our market teams in influencing and expanding the relationships with our customers' engineering and product teams

+ Developing unsolicited and requested technical proposals to support new business opportunities

+ Consultant engagement and fostering; provide high value, consultative insight to our customers

+ Go to market strategies and lead generation, including developing and executing joint GTM agreement with ecosystem partners, and solutions marketing strategies such as trade shows, publications and media

+ Establishing and developing alliance and technology partners such as Broadcom, Intel, AMD, Redhat, etc, to drive requirements and lead generation

+ Acting as our senior technical solution interface with our customers

+ Understanding and advising on the competitive landscape on a technical or product level

+ Driving R&D investment priority for Global Accounts through the engineering teams, and ensuring optimal return on that investment ensure that relevant solutions are developed at the right time

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**

+ In-depth knowledge of the product development process including phase gate development cycles, qualification & test and release to production.

+ Ability to coordinate and work with 3rd party ASIC suppliers and other suppliers, customers, and Celestica Product Line Marketing throughout the technology evaluation and implementation process as needed

+ Have excellent interpersonal skills: be able to communicate effectively with members of other teams, departments and executive levels of customers and lead effectively across internal and external functions

+ Deep understanding of the market and customer requirements for storage, server and networking technologies.

+ Have experience with compute, storage and networking systems, topologies, applications, challenges and advantages, as well as experience with enterprise database, virtualization or server technologies and applications

+ Experience with HPC and AI applications in data center, enterprise and edge deployments is a plus

+ Experience with standards, organizations and consortiums of relevant technologies is a plus

+ Lead the team to participate in standards committees and industry groups as appropriate.

+ Ability to assess, develop and approve product development business cases and associated financials

+ Acts as a customer advocate to ensure that the organization remains customer-focused.

+ Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight deadlines.

+ Provides high value industry knowledge and consulting to customers on IT technology, architecture, products and services.

+ Knowledge of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain for IT Infrastructure Equipment would be a plus.

**Physical Demands**

+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment or manufacturing floor based from a home office

+ Moderate to significant amount of travel between customer and Celestica locations

+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

**Typical Experience**

+ Has extensive experience leading high performing engineering and / or business development teams

+ Have at least 7+ years of direct experience in storage, networking or compute systems and/or rack product development

+ Have at least 7+ years of relevant technical sales or business development experience in IT infrastructure

+ Experience in product marketing and marketing analysis would be a plus

**Typical Education**

+ Bachelors Engineering Degree in related field.

+ Advanced studies in Business / Operations / Engineering are recommended
