Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of New Product Development with a strong background in crypto and blockchain technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of our new product development initiatives, from ideation to launch, while also building and leading a talented team of developers, engineers, and designers.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for new product development aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential gaps in the crypto and blockchain space.
Product Ideation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative ideas for new products and features that address market needs and customer pain points.
Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of talented individuals with diverse skills and expertise in crypto, blockchain, software development, and design.
Project Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where team members are empowered to contribute their ideas and expertise.
Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing processes to ensure product quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance product performance and user experience.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, investors, and partners, to provide updates on project status, milestones, and key performance metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience in product management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling crypto and blockchain products.
Deep understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and blockchain interoperability.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience leading and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional products that delight customers.
