Strategic Operations & HR Manager

As the Strategic Operations and Human Resources Manager, you will support the growth, employee development, and operational success of the company by fostering a collaborative culture to ensure that employees feel engaged and inspired. This role focuses on creating structures that support organization and consistency across the business. In this role, you will lead the Human Resources function to enhance employee engagement through targeted outreach and programming.
Essential Job Duties:
Manage the HR workflow relating to employee recruiting, hiring, retention, performance management, and terminations.
Develop and maintain a performance management process to create positive company culture.
Create branded and consistent company-wide communication framework.
Revise and maintain operations framework and SOPs to ensure compliance with company standards and both Federal and State regulations.
Work with leadership and outside legal counsel on employee claims, issues and investigations and take part in employment legal matters.
Oversee employee benefit plan enrollment and administration, such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, etc.
Manage and document workplace and employee training and compliance, including safety and various licenses and permits.
Engage with all employees regarding HR policies and procedures, and address employee concerns and questions.
Oversee all retail and production facilities regularly to ensure operational and safety compliance. Conduct thorough investigations with detailed documentation when necessary.
Evaluate HR reports, decisions, and results of the department. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the department’s services.
Requirements:
5+ years of Human Resources or Operations experience or equivalent
Ability to connect with all levels within the organization to foster a collaborative work environment focused on employee engagement and building high performing teams.
Experience implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.
Ability to plan, strategize, prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
Strong systems aptitude with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Proven leadership and change management skills and an ability to work with a management team to establish and maintain operational practices and programs.
This position offers $80-90K base salary + bonus + benefits
