Minimum, 8 years’ work experience managing projects and programs with increasing complexity and level of responsibility
Experience in Pharmaceuticals and/or Life Sciences is required
Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, system development lifecycles, and data communications and information systems hardware and software
Familiarity and experience with Project Portfolio Management tools; proficiency in Agile methodology and the ability to direct project team activities according to the project plan
Familiarity with the ITIL Framework and the ability to manage Infrastructure Project; familiarity with ServiceNow, specifically, project management via ServiceNow’s Agile module
Responsibilities The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects and programs aimed at achieving strategic business objectives
They utilize their expertise in IT and project management to identify, prioritize, authorize, and oversee projects within the organization
This role involves serving as a subject matter expert in Catalent's Project Management Methodology (PMM) and developing and maintaining agile development policies and methodologies for the ServiceNow platform
The employee works closely with project teams to ensure projects are properly scoped to meet business objectives and regulatory compliance
They also provide quality assurance for project funding, health, and performance, including organizational change management
While not supervising, they coordinate and oversee the activities of other employees to maximize the agency's investments in information technology
As the IT Project Manager, the employee is tasked with strategic planning for program management, resource alignment, and the monitoring, management, and control of IT Infrastructure projects
They handle various aspects of project management, including scope management, construction, testing, implementation, financial oversight, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting
Additionally, they manage a mix of small, medium, and large projects, including highly complicated and high-risk ones
Manages and oversees large, long-range, or multiple complex projects
Develops project scope, cost estimates, work plans, and time schedules, assigning work tasks to meet project or program objectives
Provides leadership and direction to ensure project scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management, and issue management
Acts as a Release Train Engineer and Solutions Train Engineer in a Scaled Agile Framework or equivalent Agile methodology environment to coordinate project team activities
Serves as a Scrum Master in Agile environments, directing day-to-day project team activities
Manages Infrastructure Projects using the ITIL v3 Framework, including transition planning, release/deployment management, service validation and testing, change management, and more
Coordinates project activities, aligns the portfolio with strategic goals, maintains records, and serves as a liaison between the IT Infrastructure Team and customers/users
Other duties as assigned

• Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, system development lifecycles, and data communications and information systems hardware and software
