BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist IT helpdesk team with providing technical support to ESD user community on various issues.
WORK PERFORMED:
Covering the main Helpdesk phone line in a courteous and efficient manner and simultaneously creating tickets.
Logging, tracking, and maintaining IT ticketing system.
On call resolution & troubleshooting with VMware Remote Assistance.
Assist with web-based video conferencing tools such as Zoom, WebEx and Teams.
Assist with mobile device setup and troubleshooting.
Work on special projects as they arise.
Inventory Tracking & maintaining inventory room.
8X8 VOIP troubleshooting issues and providing technical support.
All other tasks and functions as required by management to service the ESD end-user community.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education level required: Actively enrolled in bachelor’s degree program
College Student (Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Info. Systems major preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently remotely.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
This is a customer servicing position requiring the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems under pressure, in a timely and courteous manner.
Knowledge Required: Office 2016; Windows 10/11; Mac OS; Apple iOS Software & Web-based Video; conferencing and other cloud-based software.
