Title: Material Handling Maintenance Technician
Bill Rate: $20$/hr
Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 7:30am-4pm
Remote/Hybrid/In-person: Onsite
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Potential to convert to FTE, If so: Potential to convert
Resource's typical working day: Servicing client personnel, clogged drains, will be doing some pm work on HVAC, changing belts and filters. Public facing, customer service. Requests come in through CMMS or shoulder taps from personnel . First line of support. A variety of work. Will be working during open hours and public is here.
Must Have Skills:
• Able to work all days and shifts, including overtime (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, including holidays)
• Previous experience in basic preventive/predictive maintenance & troubleshooting skills and repair methods
• Previous experience or classwork in Mechanical and/or Electrical basic components
• Previous experience with compressors and pneumatics
Nice to have skills:
• Previous experience or classwork in Dematic, Vanderlande and/or Intelligrated Systems Understands safe use of power tools to include saws and drills
• PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS Previous experience with basic metal and wood fabrication. May include saws and drills.
• Basic understanding of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Education High school diploma or equivalent
Software skills: PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows
