Regional Sales Manager - Northeast

Manage district sales team to optimize building supply chain connectivity. Utilize advanced consultative selling practices to drive the adoption of off-site components. Foster strategic relationships with key industry figures, such as component manufacturers, builders, and building designers, positioning Company solutions as the preferred choice. Job Responsibilities & Requirements

What you'll do:

Develop a regional sales plan featuring specific, measurable objectives aligning with the company's broader goals and strategy on a district level

Collaborate with Corporate Account Managers regarding applicable key national accounts within the district to develop business development programs

Monitor and analyze the report to assess growth opportunities and identify businesses at risk, ensuring proactive management strategies. Oversee the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive report tracking current and new business within the Four Company Pillars

Mentor the sales team to build relationships with engineers and other design professionals, builders, framers, and building officials within the residential and commercial markets to ensure builders' products are accepted and integrated into construction and design projects

Regularly obtain and develop knowledge of the region, including market pricing, code and product issues, distributors, dealers, component manufacturers, commercial accounts, and other related business and products

Promote the organization as a company of people, service, and product while prioritizing profitability and expense management

Support and lead strategies, marketing planning, and sales training initiatives. Influence and implement effective strategies to drive marketing and sales success. Create goals and objectives to support district sales managers to profitably grow existing accounts and establish new business

Leadership Responsibilities: Responsible for the professional development of team members, play a key role to guide, coach, and provide constructive feedback to support team members to reach their full potential. Create a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, respect for diverse perspectives, and empower team members to excel in their roles.

Qualifications Bachelors Related Field required

6+ Years of Sales or Home Building and/or Residential Construction Industry experience required

Experience as a team lead or people manager required

SalesForce Experience preferred

Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis

Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Soft Skills

Proficient in English reading and writing, ensuring clear communication within the team and with stakeholders. Demonstrate strong analytical and mathematical aptitude, understanding business metrics for informed decision-making. Utilize knowledge of home building and/or residential construction products, software, automation, and service solutions to guide team decisions. Display a strategic mindset, focusing on achieving results within the team's scope and contributing to organizational goals. Adapt team priorities to changes, communicates clear objectives, and fosters a customer-focused approach. Identify current talent needs and contributes to the development of the team's competencies for ongoing success.

Additional Requirements Valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance required.

Physical Demands

Must be able to traverse all areas of construction sites or manufacturing plants in all types of weather. Site visits may include: walking, standing, climbing, for extended periods on uneven surfaces. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
