About The Team And Role
Manager, Business Development - Technology Partner Ecosystem role will report to the VP of Partnerships and is responsible for all sales-related and the comprehensive partner relationship strategy of select cloud marketplace vendors and all associated sales and product-related activities.
In This Role, You Will
You will manage relationships with select cloud marketplace vendors and ensure we are the preferred vector database partner. You will have extensive experience with various sales-related activities with cloud marketplaces and technology partners. These partners include the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), LLM companies (Open AI, Cohere, Hugging Face, etc.), DataLake/Warehouse companies (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.), Development Tool Vendors (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) and many others, so that Pinecone is the preferred Vector Database for cloud companies to leverage joint sales opportunities.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience working directly with the Cloud Marketplace programs
Have experience developing, managing, and deepening relationships with technology / Cloud partners in the infrastructure software space for B2B companies
Ability to enable, support, and collaborate with sales organizations to facilitate account mapping and field-level relationships
Understaand MEDDPPICC
Worked with cross-functional teams: marketing, product and sales
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
4+ years of experience in a partner or partner-facing sales role, carrying a quota
Has experience executing a technology partnership strategy
Worked for a successful high-growth startup (series A, B, or C)
