Job Description Job Description Our Marketing Team is growing by another Champion! B Green, small family owned independent grocery store chain, is looking to take our Marketing to next level. We are looking for a creative, energetic individual to help us grow to the next level.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, project management, schedule maintenance, analytical reflection, and project oversight of all print, electronic, & social media Marketing for B. Green & Co., Inc.’s brands and campaigns. This will include digital, print, branded collateral, creative project management, website content management, articles, and social media channels. The Manager will be responsible for the life cycle Marketing, overseeing and completing day-to-day tasks including but not limited to: administering and overseeing all content and production calendars; smooth communication flow between departments, ensuring project details are accurate and cohesive; written content and visual asset relay required for the web and print; creating and scheduling content for social media channels, and maintaining organization and efficiency of ongoing print and digital projects. Promotes and maintains the B. Green’s mission, values, and culture. Provides exceptional communication and service to internal and external customers.
Essential Duties:
Create, manage, and maintain B Green & Co, Inc.’s brands. Serve as the primary point of contact for brand and marketing topics.
Responsible for educating B Green’s staff (all levels) on the brand, and its initiatives.
Maintains and keeps track of marketing and advertising budget
Create/follow Marketing Plans that are in sync with store goals and vision.
Designs original, appropriate, creative and engaging content for print, and online advertising that present a consistent message in support of B Green mission and values, ensuring that resonates with our customers.
Adheres to advertising deadlines.
Coordinate advertising and other publicity for products, promotions, initiatives, and promotional and/or community outreach events.
Creates/maintains public marketing & events calendar.
Designs & creates in-store signage in accordance with the brand.
Creates content and publishes Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting, as necessary.
Develops web presence inclusive but not limited to website, social media print, email, and community campaigns.
Develops, maintains and creates content for relevant Social Media channels.
Creates and distributes collateral marketing materials. Support all departments with graphic design and marketing materials.
Day-to-day project management, updating internal calendars and databases to ensure timely responsiveness enacted by our team.
Coordinate the setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing events, shows, etc.
Works directly with the Marketing Team, overseeing and executing projects, email marketing, upholding brand style guides, messaging, social media, talking points, and copy guidelines.
Manage communications with internal and external teams, enacting clarity through all processes and responding in a timely manner.
Update content to B. Green sites, ensuring that information is accurate, accessible, on brand, and user-friendly.
Support creative development, graphic design, and/or copywriting for print collateral, merchandise, and digital assets for use in marketing, advertising, and events with oversight from Marketing Team. Inclusive of but not limited to in-store graphics, signage, and digital content.
Able to interpret creative briefs and own the development of strategic community outreach, communications, and assets for small brand and marketing campaigns.
Able to interpret B. Green’s content strategy and, with oversight from the Marketing Team, create copy and design for social media posts on all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
Support social listening on social platforms and share insights with the Marketing Team.
Track and report performance of social media content regularly and post-campaigns.
Archive and organize brand assets, including but not limited to campaign materials.
Interface with the following systems: Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Office Suite, Social Dashboards, Google Analytics.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing & Communications (or equivalent relevant experience)
2 – 4 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with a strong sense of branding, messaging, content proliferation, and a keen eye for detail, required.
Experience creating original Print and Digital content/products, proofing original Print and Digital content/products.
Experience delivering finished original Print and Digital content/products.
Minimum 2 years of retail and/or food marketing experience, with a basic understanding of the grocery business.
Adobe Creative Suite (Must be comfortable working in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) in a Windows ecosystem.
Social Media savvy - specifically Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and Constant Contact.
Self-starter, able to prioritize each day according to fast-moving timelines, weekly deadlines, and agility in project scope.
Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
Demonstrated impeccable written, verbal and communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The incumbent will be required to occasionally travel to other facilities, by automobile therefore a current, valid driver’s license is required. The role will rely heavily upon the incumbents’ ability to communicate clearly and as such, the ability to speak, listen, and comprehend information is critical. There will be long, extensive periods of sitting while working on computer but based upon the layout of the corporate office and our retail stores, the ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs is required.

The work environment is based in a corporate environment. Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Work Schedule: Full time role to equate to 45 hours or more per week. Occasionally, there may be business functions that will require your presence on additional nights and/or weekends.
