Our Direct Area Managers are charged with effectively growing their assigned sales territory through new business generation as well as growth of current clients accounts to expand current business and/or to replace existing equipment. The Direct Area Manager works with current and prospective clients to evangelize how National Carwash Solutions, Inc. portfolio of products works to continually build a more profitable car wash for their customers. What You’ll Do…

Be equipped with the industry’s best products and solutions, empowering you to deliver the best portfolio of products and results to your customers

Maintain relationships with clients to understand and identify evolving customer needs and trouble shoot problems, facilitating customer retention.

Develop and executive account plans and offer consultative guidance on our portfolio of products and services as it relates to increased operational efficiency and profitability of operations through:

Equipment Sales

Chemical Solutions

Service Support

Generates client proposals that work within established company pricing and discount structures

Generate new business leads by cold calling and working with our corporate marketing department to call on industry leads

Travel to current and prospective client sites to assess needs and make recommendations for replacing current equipment and/or for installing a new carwash equipment

Learn all product and services offerings within a short timeframe and become the subject matter expert on all solutions offerings

Coordinate responsibilities with area service manager, technicians and delivery personnel to grow client service activities

Executes the order process for equipment sales including obtaining delivery date, and monitoring pre-installation preparation at customer locations. Follows up with clients, post installation, to ensure satisfaction of company products and services

Attends and participates in various conventions including generating and following up on sales leads

Work with the Regional Manager to set goals and communicate status of sales activities; submits reports and maintains communication with various individuals and departments within the company to advise of problems, suggestions, accomplishments, etc.

Attends hearings or meetings as necessary to assist customers in obtaining required government authorization to install National Car Wash Solutions vehicle wash systems.

What You Need…

At least 5 years of experience in a consultative, B2B sales role in a similar industry

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field, preferred

Capital equipment sales and service experience is preferred

Prior experience in the car wash industry and/or are currently working for a supplier to the convenience store industry, is a plus

Competitive nature and winning team spirit

Problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify the complex

Proven track record of identifying and understanding market potential; developing and executing sales strategies with cold calling and warm leads

Strong negotiation skills; pursue and close new business and revenue streams within a typical sales cycle of approximately 90-120 days

Work collaboratively within a team to manage the client relationship to retain, manage and build account revenue

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - proactively communicate with clients via phone, email and in person

Proficiency in using SalesForce.com, preferred

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Overnight travel will be required.

Valid driver’s license, including positive driving record

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
