Growth in our digital advertising business is key to Walmart’s overall growth strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-visibility team within the largest company in the world. Walmart Connect is looking for a Technology Provider Partner Development Manager to drive growth, and adoption of the Advertising API offerings. The Partner Development Manager will own our partner expansion strategy and approach. They will define our approach, evaluation, and prospecting of new partners interested in integrating with our Advertising APIs. They will collaborate with technical and marketing teams to help these partners onboard and develop their Go-to-Market strategies, with a goal of amplifying revenue through product adoption and business development initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally to identify products and experiences that will help WMC and partners scale growth.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Develop the partner expansion strategy and process to create scale and efficiency within the program

Identify, source, evaluate, and onboard prospective Technology Providers to help grow Walmart Connect’s Partner Network

Be a product expert, well-versed in all of the ways a potential partner can partner and integrate with Walmart Connect

Collaborate with partners to develop and execute go to market plans through joint PR, marketing, co-selling, developer relations enablement and materials to hit revenue goals

Work cross-functionally with our Marketplace, Product, Strategy, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to identify product and program enhancements that will drive incremental revenue for Walmart

Enable WMC sales teams with content, training, and accelerators on specific Partner solutions that can help accelerate deals or expand opportunities

Contribute to programs driving efficiencies and scale internally and externally

Qualifications

5-7 years strategic business and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationships and cross-functional projects

Experience in working with complex, technical partners, APIs, and product

Experience working cross-functionally, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results

Proven experience delivering partnership initiatives, having worked in sales, product, business development, partnership, with an emphasis on automated advertising experiences.

Analytical experience with experience diagnosing problems and crafting solutions but also introduce ways to validate and measure outcomes

Experience building working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external facing especially with sales or pre-sales teams

BA/BS required

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.

Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.

Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.

5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.

5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
