About the Role:
Shipcom Wireless IoT is looking for a solid SolutionsArchitect who will take on a key role on our developmentteam. As a Solutions Architect, you will lead and drivethe end-to-end architecture of multiple teams in acomplex space.
This role will be a very hands-on role driving the overalltechnical and solutions architecture. What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Mapping business requirements into solutions with effort estimates
Working experience with application architecture and web application development
Working experience with DevOps Technologies, such as GIT, Docker etc.
Working with cloud based Micro-services, including Azure, AWS
Working with Responsive Web, Cache systems and patterns
Working with REST, SOAP, HTTP/2, WebSockets and related patterns.
Working in a hybrid on and offshore development model
Leading and demonstrations technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work
Leading and mentor team of solution engineers to support pursuits and exceed our revenue targets
Expected Skills/Qualifications:
3+ years technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales experience
OR relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 1+ year(s) technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales experience
OR equivalent experience
“Associate” level certification in Azure among the following: IoT Developer Specialty, Security Architect, Data Architect, Application Architect, Analytics Architect preferred
Azure Solution Architect certification preferred
Extensive working experience with .NET, React and Kubernetes
Solid experience with cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers etc.)
Experience working with product teams/owners and UX to translate business requirements to technical requirements
Experience with Architecting Solutions using various technology components
Past experience setting project vision/scope, building the team to deliver, and overseeing delivery
Must understand Agile/SCRUM methodologies
Excellent influencing and reasoning skills; good at conflict resolution and consensus building
